Favourable very central location, right by convenient for city centre. Also, on first entering the pub:)))

The beds are very comfy to sleep on. The best thing is location - adjacent to the centre and the pub and the beer garden. The service is attentive, includes free parking. The staff is accommodating and the rooms are bright and cosy.

The hotel was in a magnificent location very close to a warm and bustling pub. Furthermore, close to centre. Booked a room with great views, and the staff were very attentive and reasonably good people with free champagne.

Perfect for a weekend escape
The breakfasts were like a work of art, really filling and set the tone for the whole day. And there's this crazy quiz night that I didn't participate in but it was a riot, people throwing ping pong balls into pints like it was some Olympic event.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly, it was still alright for what we got.

Ideal for a fun atmosphere
We had a blast during the quiz nights, the one using iPads to score was a real game changer. Plus, their breakfast was something else, filled us up and set us for the day ahead.
Wasn't cheap, but honestly, it was still worth it.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to York Minster. The room was spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the comfortable bedding and nice heating that kept the room cozy in the evening. The staff were attentive. They welcomed me warmly every time I came back to the pub. I enjoyed a couple of drinks at the bar with a great atmosphere. The breakfast left a little to be desired. It felt rushed and was more of a microwaved experience rather than freshly made food. There was some noise from the pub that might disturb light sleepers. I think the value for money is excellent given the location and room quality.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to attractions. Noise levels disturbed my sleep from the pub below. Enjoyed karaoke nights and friendly staff. Breakfast offers great choices, especially the cooked options.

Perfect location and friendly staff
The room was spacious and clean, and it was fantastic to have a secure parking spot. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices to fuel my day of exploring York, just a short walk away. The only downside was a bit of noise from the pub at night, but it didn't ruin my overall experience.
